Simpler Business AI privacy notice

Last updated: 18 October 2026.

Who is responsible for your information

I am Artur Kazusek, a sole trader trading as Simpler Business AI. I am responsible for the personal information collected through this website and enquiries about my services.

Email: artur@simplerbusinessai.co.uk

Correspondence address: 38 Woodland Avenue, Burgess Hill, RH15 0PE, United Kingdom.

ICO registration reference: ZC146729.

What I collect

When you use the enquiry form, I collect your name, email address, business details, the areas you want help with and your description of the problem. You can optionally include your website. I also receive information you choose to send in emails and subsequent correspondence.

Please do not include passwords, customer databases, payment details or sensitive personal information in an introductory enquiry. If a project needs access to business data, we will agree suitable arrangements separately.

The website host and form provider may process technical information, such as your IP address, browser information and request logs, to deliver and protect their services.

Why I use it

I use enquiry details to understand what you need, reply, arrange a conversation and prepare a proposal where appropriate.

Where you are considering entering a contract with me personally, I use information necessary to take steps at your request before that contract. Where you contact me on behalf of a company, I rely on my legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and managing business relationships. I also have a legitimate interest in protecting the website and handling misuse. These interests must be balanced against your rights.

You do not have to enquire. If you do, I need enough information to understand your request and a way to reply; without it, I may be unable to help. The website field is optional.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Where your information goes

I use Tally to collect and store form responses. Tally sends a notification to my Gmail inbox so I can review your enquiry. Messages sent to my business email are handled by IONOS and forwarded to my Gmail inbox. Google therefore also handles enquiry information and correspondence.

The website is hosted by Netlify. Hosting and form services use their own service providers to operate, secure and deliver their services.

I may disclose information where required by law. If a future project requires a developer or another collaborator to access personal information, we will establish the appropriate access and data-handling arrangements first. This notice does not grant general access to your business systems or project data.

International processing

Tally states that its form data is stored in Europe. Its email-notification service uses SendGrid in the United States, so European form storage does not mean that all enquiry processing stays in Europe. Google and Netlify also operate internationally.

Google describes its international-transfer arrangements in its transfer policy, including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and contractual clauses where applicable. Netlify sets out its contractual transfer safeguards, including UK provisions, in its data-processing agreement. Tally describes safeguards for transfers outside the EEA in its data-processing agreement. You can contact me for information about the safeguards applicable to your information.

How long information is kept

For enquiries that do not become projects, I keep your information for no longer than 12 months after our last meaningful contact. This allows time to respond and follow up on your request. I review these records monthly and remove the relevant form responses, email copies and working notes when they are no longer needed.

If an enquiry becomes a project, I will explain the relevant project-record retention arrangements separately. Information needed to meet legal obligations or handle a dispute may need to be retained longer, limited to what is necessary. Service-provider backups may be removed on their own deletion schedules rather than immediately.

Cookies and AI

With your consent, Google Analytics 4 measures visits and website use. It loads through Google Tag Manager only after you accept analytics. It processes page visits, browser and device information, network information and online identifiers. We do not send enquiry text or contact details as analytics events. Meta Pixel is not installed.

You can refuse optional tracking or withdraw consent using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future use of the relevant tools on this website; it does not erase information previously received by providers. Essential local storage remembers your choice for 180 days. See the cookie notice for details.

The current Analytics property retains event-level data for two months and user-level data for fourteen months. New activity can restart the user-data retention period. Aggregated reports may be retained longer. These periods are separate from the 180-day cookie lifetime and enquiry retention.

There is no automatic AI assessment or acceptance/rejection of your enquiry in the current setup. Any later use of AI to process enquiry information must be assessed and reflected in this notice before that processing begins.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances and the legal basis, you can ask to access your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights have conditions and exceptions.

Contact artur@simplerbusinessai.co.uk to make a request or raise a concern. I may need information to confirm your identity. I will normally respond within one month; if a lawful extension applies, I will explain it.

You can also complain directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You do not have to complain to me first.

Changes

I will update this notice when the way I handle information changes. Last updated: 18 October 2026.
